During the summer, he could be found working in his garden, where he produced bumper crops of fruits and vegetables. Roy and his wife, Sara, travelled often. Roy was an excellent skier, both water and snow. Most Christmas vacations were spent in Aspen, Colorado, and other ski areas out west. Summer vacations included travelling in the United States and abroad, leaving many wonderful memories of their good times together.
