Our beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, November 9, 2016. Mary was born in Mobile, AL on December 23, 1943 and moved to Niceville, Florida in 1946 where her parents opened their family business, Davis Grocery Store on Bayshore Drive. In Mary's early years, she enjoyed growing up in Niceville and swimming in Boggy Bayou with her 2 brothers Wiley and Charles Davis. After attending Choctawhatchee High School she moved to Fort Walton Beach in 1960 where she married and raised her 2 sons. Mary was an inspirational part of Henderson Electric and Vice President for over 25 years. Mary loved being with her family, friends and traveling to her favorite place in the world "The Great Smoky Mountains". Mary was loved by her family, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Wiley C. Davis and mother, Addie Lou Davis. She is survived by her sons; Jimmy Henderson II (wife Debbie), Douglas Henderson (wife Gloria), of Fort Walton Beach: grandchildren, Nathaniel Henderson (wife Georgia) and Natalie McClure (husband Jared), James "Trey" Henderson III and Erica Henderson of Fort Walton Beach and 3 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services will be conducted on Monday, November 14, 2016 at the Emerald Coast Funeral Home on Racetrack Road in Fort Walton Beach with visitation starting at 10 a.m. and funeral services at 11 a.m. with grave site services following at Beal Memorial Cemetery. Father John Licari of St. Mary Catholic Church will be officiating the service. Reception to follow the grave site services at Two-Trees Restaurant at the Fort Walton Beach Golf Course. Pallbearers will be Nathaniel Henderson, James "Trey" Henderson III, Jared McClure, Tony Harkleroad, Michael Davis and Lance Davis.
