Ms. Lucy "Nell" Foy entered eternal glory on Jan 30th, 2017, at Hawthorne House Assisted Living Facility in Shalimar. Nell was born on Sept 21, 1923 to Mr. CC Nalls and Mrs. Nellie (Lovett) Nalls of Brinson, GA, as the fourth of six children. She graduated from Brinson High School in 1940, then attended school and worked in Bainbridge, GA. She married James E. Foy, of Newberry, South Carolina on April 30, 1943 at the Bainbridge Army Air Field Post Chapel. After many years in the military, Jim and Nell settled in Greeley, CO for over 20 years. They later moved to Pensacola, FL and lived there for 25 years. Following Jim's death on Jan 29, 2010, Nell moved to Hawthorne House at the AF Enlisted Village. Nell was preceded in death by her daughter, Judy Black and her brothers Carl, Clarence and Chester Nalls. She is survived by her daughter Jean Mattiza (husband Dann) of Ft Walton Beach; son-in-law David Black of Davie, FL; brothers, Grimes Nalls of Brinson, GA and Billy Nalls (wife Faye) of Monticello, GA; sister-in-law Thelma Nalls of Bainbridge, GA; many loving nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a host of friends. Visitation will be held at the Delores Hope Chapel at Bob Hope Village, Wednesday, February 1, 2017 from 10-11AM followed by a service at 11. She will be laid to rest with her beloved Jim at Barrancas National Cemetery at the Naval Air Station in Pensacola. Services are being handled by Emerald Coast Funeral Home.
